TOPS Internet Updater
Your technical support plan entitles you to the use of our TOPS
Internet Updater, allowing you to stay up-to-date with the latest
version of the software. Using the TOPS Internet Updater, you can:
- Automatically compare program file dates with the files on
your system to determine which files are out of date or missing,
and update them with one simple click.
- Schedule the Updater to run automatically on a regular schedule
that you define. If you prefer to review the update list before
overwriting files on your system, you can set the scheduler to
simply notify you when files need to be updated.
- Compare file sizes if you suspect files have been damaged or
altered by a virus or other outside influence.
- Update the entire program or select individual modules to update
separately.
- Load custom programs into the updater to maintain select versions
of files containing custom program information, such as those
designed for a specific bank or 3rd party software.
- Update all of your workstations individually, or update the
workstation and server simultaneously.
- Update the server as a workstation and then use the built-in
“Update Workstation from Server” utility to deploy
updates across your entire network, safely and efficiently.
