Get the most out of the new Calendar/Scheduler program with Job Streaming!
The new Calendar/Scheduler program for TOPS Professional™
is due to be released through the TOPS Internet Updater next month. This
program includes a full featured calendar allowing you to track important
dates, appointments, and meetings; including recurring events like monthly
board and committee meetings. In addition to the normal calendar functions,
the calendar also allows you to track dates created within the TOPS Professional™
program, such as CCR/ACC Enforcement inspection dates and Work Order completion
deadlines. The integration with TOPS Professional™ goes even further with
the scheduler function by automatically reminding users of upcomming tasks
and performing regular uploads of TOPS Data to third party services.
When paired with the Job Streaming add-on module,
the scheduler gets an added boost by allowing you to schedule and run
TOPS Professional™ jobs and functions, anytime. That means, using the
Job Streaming module, you can create a job to charge the maintenance fees,
late fees, print late letters, run Report Defaults, etc. for multiple
communities. Then, you can schedule that job to run whenever it's most
convenient for you. Maintenance fees can automatically be charged on the
first of each month, even if it's a Saturday or Sunday!
In addition to the scheduling functions, new features were added to the
Job Streaming module with the release of TOPS Professional™ . These features
include a new, more user friendly interface, new job types, the ability
to create jobs based on a user's community assignments, and the ability
to schedule jobs for other users.
If you use the users/passwords feature and assign communities within
TOPS to managers based on their portfolio, then you can also create and
assign jobs with the Job Streaming module for just those communities.
Meaning, you can create a job based on the community portfolio of a manager,
like running the Report Defaults or printing mailing labels, and then
you can assign the job to the appropriate accounting or office personnel
to complete, or schedule the job to run automatically!
