TOPS Centralizes Support Department
"We have now moved the support department
for TOPS 2000™ to our Clearwater, Florida office." |
This winter proved a difficult one for our support department, and our
customers, as we completely restructured our support system. We know that
some of you experienced some difficulty getting through on our support
line, and we apologize for any frustration you may have experienced. To
avoid having these problems occur again, we have taken a few steps:
Central Location: We have now moved the support department for
TOPS 2000™ to our Clearwater, Florida office. With all of our Windows
support personnel located in the same office, we feel that they will be
more able to support each other to support you better.
First Contact: We have hired a new support receptionist, who is
responsible for answering the support line. Her name is Jeanne Plenart,
listen for her friendly voice when you call support.
Call Tracking: We have initiated a new system of message tracking
to better handle your calls. Calls are now logged electronically, and
are instantly accessible from any of our offices via a ticket number.
Be sure to ask for your ticket number when you first call. This will enable
you to call back later and learn the status of your ticket.
Help Resources: You can help yourself! In recent months, we have
added numerous resources to enable you to locate the answers to your own
questions. Here's what is available:
- Help in TOPS 2000™ - Press F1 or click Help, and select Help
Contents to search our help database.
- User Manuals - Our user manuals are available in .pdf format. Look
in the TOPS 2000™ help menu.
- How To: Online - Our website, www.topssoft.com has a brand new section,
called How To. This section contains simple, easy to follow lists of
instructions for using TOPS 2000™.
- Frequently Asked Questions - Our FAQ is a searchable database of questions
and answers to frequent problems and error messages.
- E-mail Support - send an e-mail to our support department at support@topssoft.com.
