8/14/2009 Work Order

Work Order Maintain > Cost Centers are turned off in the Maintenance Manager community defined in Control Info. When posting a charge for Work Order to charge back to the TOPS Community, you get a screen titled "Create TOPS 2000 A/P Transaction". Selecting a GL Account Number from the browse window would not populate in the Create TOPS2000 A/P Transaction window. This issue has been resolved.

8/14/2009 Work Order

Work Order Maintain > When posting a charge for Work Order back to the TOPS Community, a window opens titled "Create TOPS 2000 A/P Transaction". You must proceed and complete the posting process. You cannot cancel out one you have reached this point.

Billing & Receivables > Enhanced the process to charge the homeowner in TOPS. Available options are now:
  • Customer General
  • Customer's TOPS Community & Owner
  • Customer's TOPS Owner
  • Customer's TOPS Community
  • Do Not Charge Work Orders

Work Order > Charges > Post Charges: Previously, there was no way to cancel out of the distribution window. Maintenance Manager (MaintCo) will now only allow the invoice in TOPS AP to be created for Communities with a default Vendor chosen who has a default GL Account #.

Work Order > Enhancement: Added the ability for users with hourly rates to quickly select a work order and enter start / end times and a note. Admin users may then review all time entries, modify, and then save them to the work orders.

Work Orders > Work Order Maintain (Global Work Order Search) > Search via Community Name Maintenance Manager will now display a new Work Order in the listing immediately after it has been added. Resolved an issue when customers are entered into Maintenance Manager (MaintCo) as General Customers, previously there was NO a way for them to be assigned to a Community. Also resolved an issue when searching Work Orders for a particular community and some of the General Customers would show up.

7/27/2009 Messages

Messages > Updated Maintenance Manager to use the Messages database in its current data path location. This resolves the issue with users logging in.

Messages > Resolved an issue accessing Phone Messenger Messages. The database would have to be repaired because users could not log in. The database will now only be opened when accessing data, then closed to help prevent this issue.

Customers > Maintain Customers > Search > When searching customers, the customers filter list is displaying < General Customers > twice. This has been resolved and only displays once.

Resolved an issue with the overtime rate always printing on the invoices despite what options are selected.

Work Order Maintain > Enhancement: The search capabilites with auto fill on the name field in the Work Order window now works the same way way on other fields with the pulldown search.

Work Order Maintain > Enhancement: Added functionality to duplicate Work Orders from the Global Work Order Search. Right click on the Work Order, click "Create Duplicate Work Order". The new Work Order window displays and is populated with information from the original Work Order. The Work Order also contains the original Work Order number as a reference.

Work Order Maintain > Enhancement: Added functionality to generate invoices based on Bid Prices without copying to cost. Print the bid invoice for a Work Order by using the Print button > Work Order Proposal (BID) option on Print Options window. Choose Summarized or Detail. This Option is available only when the Work Order has a bid cost item.

Work Order Maintain > Enhancement. When adding a Work Order, it will automatically populate the database. It was previously refreshing the data, causing delay in the display of the data.

Work Order Maintain > Enhancement: Added a feature to show assignment and transfer of assigned Work Orders from one person to another. Also added a "?" next to the assignment combo-box. Click on the "?" to show assignment history.

Work Order Maintain > Enhancement. Added the ability to manually over-ride the employee rate at time of entering labor rates to Work Orders. For example, an employee on Monday is billed at 50.00 and on Tuesday is billed at 60.00.

Resolved an issue when printing of an invoice. It will now correctly print the alternate billing address when it is checked in the customer record.
