v3.2.1™ New Features
v3.2.1™ is loaded with enhancements all geared
toward improving productivity, and providing you with greater flexibility
and mobility. Increased user accountability, more security, and
compliance have all been addressed in this release. All of these
enhancements are designed to provide the latest technology to property
management companies and self-managed associations. The result is
the most sophisticated and user friendly version of the software
to date.
Following is a list of features that are included in the 3.2.1
release. In addition to new items released under 3.2.1, this version
includes all items issued via the 212
Internet Updater prior to this release.
All New Programs / Features
- New security key system based on Windows domain workstation
key scheme. New security keys are kept as a 'pool' on the server,
and checked out as users log in.
- New administrative license manager allows administrators to
track and control users logging in to v3.2.1™. Log
file system tracks all user interaction within the v3.2.1™
system, including logins and logouts, program access, and other
user activity.
- Brand new Users and Passwords system provides more administrative
control with true user groups in a simple tree-based interface.
- New Group Rights activated in Users and Passwords making it
very easy to add new users or change user rights.
- Phone Messenger with the ability to send and track messages
from homeowners to other 212 users.
- Calendar / Scheduler which allows you to schedule, assign, and
track tasks, and attach them to 212 functions.
- Document Manager in the Community Fact Sheet, Owner Database,
and CC&R Modules, allowing you to attach documents to a 212
record, including Form Letters and Reports.
- “Advanced” printing option which enables you to
Print, Email, Upload to the web, and save reports and form letters
in PDF format.
- Completely redesigned Form Letter program includes scores of
new features such as tables, graphics, symbols, PDF printing,
ability to open and save Word documents, and spell checker.
- Global Reports program allows you to compile data globally across
all communities, and then run statistical reports on that data.
Also included is a Lookup function whereby you can perform global
searches for any data, and print or export it.
- “Batch Entry” option for CC&R that allows you
to input multiple CC&R violation records with similar settings
across multiple communities and homes at one time, then print
violation letters.
- "Global Violation Actions" option in CC&R allows
you to print violation letters accross multiple communities at
one time.
- Complete Job Streaming Redesign that allows you to launch redundant
tasks across all your communities from one centralized, user-friendly
location. Now includes scheduling functionality.
- New Balance Sheet Trends report allows you to add notes to balance
sheet information to explain balance sheet changes from month
to month.
- New Budget Analysis report allows you to add notes to income
statements to explain budget variations.
- New Delinquency Trends report shows delinquency levels for the
past 6 months and allows you to add notes to explain delinquency
level trends.
- Font size and zoom options added to report print preview in
advanced printing preview mode.
- Print Filed Reports function has been redesigned to incorporate
the Advanced PDF printer. Filed reports may be printed, saved,
exported, emailed, even compiled together into one file containing
all reports.
- Web Reports manager has been updated to utilize the new Advanced
PDF printer. Any report that can be printed in v3.2.1™
may now be exported to a 212 community web site.
- Flex Data report now provides option to print only owner records
containing flex data.
- You may now edit in print preview mode for compiled form letters
and reports in the 'advanced printing' preview window, changing
letter content before proceeding with print.
- Form Letter program seamlessly imports/exports letters to and
from .DOC, .HTM, .TXT, and .RTF files.
- Form Letter Manager is now available from within the Form Letter
program.
- You may now select from three different return payment addresses
when printing bills and coupons, community address, management
address or lockbox address.
- New merge codes for Community Information have been added to
Form Letter. This includes fields for actual community address,
lockbox address, and other address.
- Additional new merge codes have been added for community web
site address, owner email address, and property manager signature
lines.
- In Owner Maintain, navigation arrows have been added to the
Property Info, Recurring Charges, Flex Data and Owner Flag windows
so you can easily move from home to home making changes, without
the need to return to the owner maintain window to switch between
homes.
- Global AP has been moved to a tab in the Global Functions module
where it can be used by everyone, it is no longer part of Job
Streaming.
- Assessment amounts may be changed “on the fly” when
printing coupons or generating coupon files. You no longer need
to change the charge table amounts to print coupons for a new
assessment year.
- A new utility has been added to the A/R Charge Tables setup
to allow users to activate new charges previously defined when
setting up coupons. This should eliminate the need to enter or
calculate new charges more than one time.
- Mobile PDA conduit has been upgraded to increase speed and reliability
of the syncing process.
- Prepaid control has been improved. You can now allocate credits
to ANY charge code and they will ONLY be applied to that charge
code.
- Graphics in the new community and new owner/property wizards
have been updated.
- A complete button / icon overhaul has been applied to make the
program appear consistent accross all modules.
- New 212 Splash screen has been added with a new look and feel
including an option to remember user logins and passwords.
- Startup tips have been updated with over 80 new helpful tips
and tricks.
