212 2000™ New Features and Updates
This page includes all updates and fixes made in our
update, 212 2000™ version 3.04. We have broken the list into
groups by module:
Overall Changes
- FASTER: A general speedup has been made to each of the
add-on modules, including enhanced compression of executables,
which will increase load speeds for remote connections.
- NEW LOOK: Add-On modules now include a new look. Buttons
have been redesigned to be easier to understand and more universal.
Numerous screens have been rearranged or redesigned to be more
user-friendly.

Work Order
Totally redesigned with easier screens and new capabilities!
- New: A complete overhaul was performed on the Work Order
module. Primary characteristics are faster overall speed, greater
reliability, and more feature-rich.
- New: Completely redesigned handling of Work Order costs.
- Improved: Service Requests now allow use of default descriptions
similar to Work Order.
- Improved: Close & Charge buttons added to the Costs
screen.
- Improved: New types created 'on the fly' now apply that
type to current Work Order.
- Improved: Clicking on Work Order number in SR will now
jump user to that work order.
- Improved: Changed work order summary description to allow
for 40 characters.
- Improved: Improved grouping criteria for service request
reports.
- On initial load the next arrow key now goes to the first record.
- Cost summary display now correctly updates if cost changed or
deleted.
- Now user can change Job Location after one has already been
chosen.
- The Use 212 2000 Form option now wraps the detailed description.
- Work order report margins apply to description for 212 2000
Form.
- Vendor Name added to 212 2000 Work Order Form.

CC&R:
- New: Update Codes utility added. Updates open CCR Violation
records for new action steps entered into the CCR Codes. It does
not replace completed actions, only future uncompleted actions.
Includes option to do all CCR Codes or selected CCR Code
- New: Added ability to include notes and action tables
on the same report using a sub report.
- Improved: Database loading for CC&R reports has been
improved for more reliable reporting.
- Improved: Redesigned reports for cleaner look
- Notes in ACC History Report now print in Alpha order
- Range of addresses work in the Ride List report.
- When browsing the CCR letters within the CCR Codes action table,
if a letter is already assigned to a step and the cancel button
is pressed on the Letter selector, it now returns to the CCR Codes
action table.
- Blank summary descriptions will no longer be saved.
- Summary descriptions may now be changed on individual records
even if 'Use Defaults' has been checked..

Gate Security
- New: 212 Guard Gate program added for guards to access
212 data from the gate house. 212 Guard Gate limits the functions
available to the operator, while simplifying program use. Guards
using 212 Guard Gate may search for and/or add visitors and vehicles,
set timestamps, and print passes.
- New: Added ability to mark a timestamp for entering visitors.
- New: Added timestamp report for tracking visitors.
- Improved: Increased initial database creation speed for
212 Guard Gate.
- The range by sticker number now stops at the ending range.
- Order By Last Name report now separates each homeowner.
- Visitors are now sorted alphabetically on the initial sort.
- Removed Previous Owners from the owner search function.

Form Letter
- New: Added a 10,000 level Undo/Redo function, accessible
via Edit, Undo, or CTRL+Z. (Edit, Redo, or CTRL+Y for Redo)
- New: Added merge code that lists Outstanding CCR violations
for a property.
- New: Added merge code for number of days for CCR action
levels.
- Improved: CCR Status merge code now replaces Yes with
ACTIVE and No with CLOSED.
- Next inspection date merge code now correctly prints out on
letters.
- Toolbar icons now reliably report font information for selected
text.
- Now detects whether a letter is a CCR Letter, a letter containing
ANY CCR merge code, and prompts user to continue with letter.
Still prints CCR NOT SELECTED in merge code if letter printed
from owners or A/R.
- Form Letter Manager: Copying and transferring Form Letters now
works for letters 1-100.

Pool Pass
- New: Added a way to print multiple passes that do not
necessarily go in order or to a certain home.
- New: Added new interface to select which homes to print
passes for all pool pass reports.

Community Web Sites
- New: Added UPLOAD.AS so a community may be uploaded under
a different ID if Community ID was changed. Also may be used with
sub associations.
- New: Added ability to upload reports from 212 2000™
to community websites. Reports will be stored under new heading
on website's menu sidebar. Includes report manager utility to
maintain uploaded reports.
- Internet menu now controlled via security key so only customers
with 212 Community web sites have access to web site related
options.
